You do need to use traffic exchanges as part of your strategy.
Always pick a traffic exchange that will give you something in
return for using their service. I for one look for trafficexchanges
that give extra credits for surfing.

I have seen text ads that say Traffic Exchanges Do Not Work.
Well let me tell you, they do work for the purpose they are intended for.

Do you know what traffic exchanges are really used for?

Do you think that traffic exchanges are used for sellingyour products and
getting sign-ups to your affiliate system?

I have been researching what traffic exchanges are actually used for this last
month. What I have found out really knocked my socks off!

Traffic exchanges are not used to sell products or get newsign-ups for
an affiliate program. Traffic exchanges are used to get your website rated
higher with alexa. rating. Having a good rating with your website will get your
pages ranked with the search engines. Having a steady stream of visitors to
your page will help you there.

That is another reason you need to build your own website!
Having an affiliate site usually does not help you get to the top. It does help
the company your are promoting but not your affiliate page. Pick your program,
make a website to promote it and then put it in the traffic exchanges.

Now, back to traffic exchanges. Sometimes we feel like it's a waste of time surfing
the traffic exchanges and I have felt that way too. I wrote a month ago about an
auto surf program that I was testing out.

The company has credit pages you can report and earn extra credits. With the
amount of credits I have earned I should never run out of credits.

The best part of Auto Surf Pro is that they have a money page also. You do need
to be an upgraded member but you can come in at the lowest member level and

I can honestly say that I have earned from this auto surf. When I upgraded at the
end of April I surfed the pages and ended up earning $5.50. Ok, not a big deal right?

upgrade and gives me plenty of traffic. Look at all the other winners. One of them

Wow, Wow and Wow again.

That has got to be the best training series I have ever watched on the internet. I believe that the product that Derek has put together is really brilliant! Wish I had though of it.

In 4 days a website was made and online. From start to finish I couldn't take my eyes and ears off this series.

You Must Capture Your Own Leads

I thought that most people knew how to get a splash page up and running. Man was I ever proven wrong!I was really amazed when I discovered how many people did not know how to use a basic web sitebuilder, did not know how to create hyper-links,did not know how to integrate their auto-responder on their web pages.

This should be basic common sense for anyone that ismarketing on the internet.Why would you want your own web site with a leadcapture page?

The answer is easy.

It does not matter what you have chosen for your business to be but, it does matter if you are not putting your business on your own website.

You can chose to be part of a lead generating affiliate company but if you do not build your own website and with a lead capture page of your own then you will not be collecting leads to market more products to.

The leads are not yours! They belong to the company you sent them to and if you ever leave the company or the company shuts down,then you just lost all your leads. This can be a disaster for your business

Creating your own web page with a sign up form on it so that you can send your customers information about your service is the only way that you control your leads.
At least, if the companys shuts down or you change comanies, the leads will still be yours. You can continue to contact your leads.

That is the most important aspect of building your business. Having a list that you take with you everywhere is priceless!

Review on Simpleology's Blogging Course

January 23rd I said I was going to check out the blogging course
that Simpleology put out and I did go through the course.

This is what I experienced. If I was just getting started on the internet
and didn't know what blogging was about or how to get started
the course was excellent!

The course took me step by step on setting up a blog and how to
get started with it. Of course I knew the content that was provided
so, it wasn't new news to me.

The course also explained how to get links back to your blog and there
were some strategies I was not aware of. So, I did learn from there.

They gave some execellent strategies on getting traffic to your blog.
I know some of the strategies but not all of them. I guess you could
say I gained knowledge there also.

If you are new to blogging, or considering the strategy of starting a
blog I do recommend that you take the simpology blogging course.
It's not for seasoned bloggers but beginners will get a lot of good
information.

Adword Tips-3 Incredible Tips To Get Your Adwords Going

As the most popular PPC engine available, Adwords is a must when using PPC to pull traffic to your sites. However, as the most popular PPC engine, keywords are often expensive, and a short-run ad campaign can cost an arm and a leg.

There are ways to grab more traffic while spending less using Adwords. Let’s look at three tips for doing so.

Tip One: Use Hyper-Targeted Keywords.

Hyper-Targeted keywords are the actual keywords that sell – the ones that indicate your surfer is sitting there, credit card in hand, ready to make the purchase. In general, I use the following three phrases when selling “product”:

Buy Product
Purchase Product
Order Product

And of course, use each of them with all of Google’s features – in quotations and in brackets, for each type of matching. So for instance, instead of just Buy Product, you would use: Buy Product, “Buy Product”, and [Buy Product]. Depending on how hot an item you have chosen, these three primary power words – Buy, Purchase, and Order – can bring you more targeted traffic than you know what to do with, and these are people who are ready to purchase right now!

Tip Two: Use Site-Targeting.

Another feature of Adwords that most users completely ignore is the site-targeting option. Campaigns can be keyword-targeted or site-targeted. The beauty of site targeting is that you can target sites at the top of the organic Google searches. This works better in some cases than others, obviously, but when it works, you end up paying a fraction of the cost for clicks that you would for keyword-targeted campaigns.

For best results, choose a few top keyword phrases and enter them into Google. Look at the first 5 results for each one (or more if you like) and notice whether or not those sites use Adsense.
Also notice the Adsense placement – is it near the top of the screen? The top left position is best, but as long as the ads are visible without scrolling the page, that site is a great candidate.

When you paste that site’s root into Adwords, it may or may not be approved. If it is an approved site-targeted ads site, you’re in business. Now edit the campaign and change the site’s root out with the direct link you got from your Google search – now only that page will show your ad!

Your CPM will be much lower than if the entire site was showing your ads, and you know your traffic is coming from people who searched for the term you entered.

Tip Three: Show the item’s price in your ad.

This one may sound simple, but it can really go a long way towards weeding out expensive clicks that had no intention of converting. In my experience, showing the item’s price in the ad has weeded out approximately 80% of non-buyer clicks. It reduces the total number of clicks, of course, but those clicks are higher quality traffic. This is especially effective if your price is lower than most other prices on the same product elsewhere.

These three little tips will give you an advantage in the Adwords game. Best of luck!

Internet Marketing offers limitless opportunities for income creation by accessing the power of the World Wide Web. With access to the online masses, you have the potential to reach an unimaginably immense audience with your products, marketing and promotions. But how do you begin to tap into the power of the internet? PPC, or pay-per-click ads, although popular, are expensive. Used incorrectly, these can result in a tremendous loss of money and the traffic can dry up as soon as the investment capital does. Enter article marketing – a free way to reach thousands of people very quickly, bringing long-term traffic to your website on a daily basis.

So what is article marketing? Put simply, article marketing is the writing of free articles that point back to your website or product. These articles are submitted to article directories across the internet, and from there they can be used by other people for content on their websites, with the condition that your author bio box remains in tact. This is the true beauty of article marketing – a few minutes of your time can yield months of results!

Let’s look at the basics. An article is approximately one page of text, using Microsoft Word. Articles generally contain between 400 and 700 words, and are informative and helpful to the target audience. You can find word count programs on the internet. My favorite is: http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/countwords.shtml - you paste your article into the box, click “Calculate Words”, and it immediately tells you how many words are in your article. You can even take the code from this site and put it onto your own website. It’s completely free.

When writing articles, stick to topics you know well. Or find an article similar to the one you want to write, read it a couple of times, and then rewrite it entirely using your own words. You can also get some ideas from several articles, and then combine them into a totally new article. You can even purchase PLR (private label rights) articles and use them on your site as-is, or alter them and submit them to article sites (be careful with this one – you must change them enough to be unrecognizable from the original, or you will be flagged for duplicate content).

To get your articles circulating on the internet, these are the most important sites available: http://ezinearticles.com, http://goarticles.com, and http://articledashboard.com. These three, in my experience, have the most users and the most clout with Google. They are all free to register with and submit articles to. Just be sure to follow their rules (especially EzineArticles), to keep from having your account suspended or your articles rejected.

Finally, make sure you create a bio box that will draw readers to your site. Your author bio should give a little info about you and give the reader incentive to come to your site. This is where the traffic comes from, and the amount of traffic good articles can generate will blow you away! Write useful articles, and you will find ezines and websites beginning to publish your articles, bringing in more traffic from their readers/visitors.

Why You Will Fail With Your Internet Business

As Internet Marketers, especially new InternetMarketers, we try to believe that we can run abusiness on the internet for free.

There is a limit. You can get started with many services at low to no cost but, for you to really build and promote your business you need to upgrade your services.

Most companies do have a trial version, a free version, or an affiliate program that will not cost you much.

The trial version will give you some of the internet marketing tools for a small to no cost and you will get to use the tools for a limited time. Then it's up to you to upgrade and get the best of the tools. The free or trial version is just to show you what you can get your hands on.

An affiliate program that will let you join and promote it for free is not your answer either. When you are promoting an affiliate product, you really need to use the service your self so that you can answer questions about that product or service. Usually the free service will not give you then knowledge you need to promote the product successfully. Getting it free and promoting it will not make you rich. Make your self the expert with your knowledge.

As an internet marketer you need to find out whatit is that you want to promote. You need to sit downand write down your strategies, you need to get thetools to make your strategies work.
The tools that most internet marketers need are:

1. A domain name
2. A hosting company
3. A website builder
4. An auto-responder
5. Ad tracking software
6. Url rotators
7. Tools to promote your business, like traffic exchanges, safelists, calssified ads.
8.Communication tools like a desk top service, telephone, conference room

This is just the beginning of the internet marketing tools that you will need.

All that is mentioned above will cost you money. The business you start on the internet needs to be treated as if you went downtown, purchased a building and set up a business in that building. What we purchase on the internet is virtual realestate.
There are expenses involved!

So far, I can see that many people have fallen into the hype of the internet, thinking they are going to make a lot of money free.

Not only do they think they are going to make money free, they think that if they just put a web-site out there that people will start buying from them immediatley. It's not going to happen that way!

Having an internet marketing business takes time, a lot of work, tools that you need to build and promote your business, and your belief and determination that you can succeed.

Yes, as mentioned above, there is a limit to the useage of their tools but in all honesty I can say the tools are just what everyone needs.

What are my conclusions about "free"? People who are not willing to take the necessary steps and work hard to build their business have no business on the internet. They need to stay in the physical day to day job and stay miserable.

This is my personal opinion of course.

Folks, you need to purchase some of the free stuff you have, give it an honest try for a couple of months. If you think the product or service is not what you need at this time to work for you then opt-out!
There are so many great internet marketing tools online and you are going to have to pick one or two that will help you achieve the results you want.

Here's Four Warning Signs of a Possible Scam

I received this email today from John Vincent. I am on John’s mailing list and when I received this email I got to thinking..How many people really don’t know how to spot a scam? So, I asked John if I could share it with you and he agreed…So here it is.

I’ve been asked the following question a few times by people who are new to the land of net marketing. “How can I tell the difference between a program that’s sha.dy, and one that represents an honest 0pportunity?”

It’s tough to hand out a cut and dry answer to this question, because I believe in judging each case by its own merit. However, there are a few “red flags” to look for when evaluating a network marketing 0pportunity site.

But first, what suggestion would be complete without some type of “please don’t sue me” disclaimer? So here goes:
I am not an attorney, nor am I an employee of the federal trade commission, or in any way affiliated with any consumer awareness advisory boards. The following advice is my own personal opinion, and is based on my experiences, my perception of common sense, my understanding of certain laws, and my sincere belief that, for crying out loud, sometimes it’s just plain obvious when you are being fed a load of bull.

Four signs of possible scamming, listed in no particular order:

1- No Contact or About Info Anywhere on the Website Should you come across a website that is selling a business 0pportunity, yet offers nada in the way of information about who is behind the company, and how you can get in touch with these people, please c!ick to another site right away. You should n.ever, ever, invest in a business 0pportunity with an organization that is unwilling to disclose who they are, where they live, how you can reach them, etc.

2- Gua.ranteed Earning Claims It is unreasonable for any type of 0pportunity that pays you on the premise of retail per.formance, i.e. affi!iate sa!es, to offer any type of guaranteed earnings statement. Exceptions to this standard would include a written contract that allots you a fixed base rate of pay with commissions being an addition to this compensation. But come on. How many affi!iate programs offer a base rate of pay? Bottom line; how can anyone predict the number of successful sa!es, and therefore the total commissions, you will earn as a result of your efforts?

3- Forced Matrix Scheme I’m going to get some hate mail for this one (bring it on), but it needs to be said. The Forced Matrix model was designed for two reasons. To benefit the big hitters at the top of the line, and to dupe a huge number of gullible people into paying the monthly fees, and thus contributing to the “winner’s pot”. If you are the kind of person who is looking for a system that does the work for you, then you are exactly the kind of sucker the people behind the Forced Matrix scam had in mind when they drew up the plans for this juggernaut of web marketing parasites.

4- What’s the Product? This is such a simple question, and it’s really pathetic how so many programs, and so many clueless entrepreneurs, can’t answer it without stopping to think. The www. is the only place I can think of where someone will ask me to buy from them and then be unable to give me a square answer as to what they are selling. The fact is many programs have no product and are simply recycling membership fees to pay upline members for the act of recruiting new people. This type of “0pportunity” is best described as a pyramid, or a ponzi. A system that pays its members soley on the grounds of referral fees is illegal in the U.S., and in many other nations. If you’re not clear as to what a website is trying to sell you, but you see plenty of earnings claims and a load of colorful payment buttons, you’re probably smack in the middle of scam town.

Take the preceding list for what you will. In the end, you have to decide for yourself what to do with your hard earned ca.sh mo.ney.

But if you do happen to blow your paycheck on any of the garbage I’ve listed here, even after I warned you, please don’t whine about how the internet is full of scams and there is no real mo.ney to be made. There are all kinds of great0pportunities on the web. You just have to use a little common sense sometimes, and not jump on board with an over-hyped program just because you couldn’t resist the pretty red fonts and all the pictures of smiling yuppies.

One avenue we could take is to get a mentor but I know the majority of the really good mentors charge fees that are off the scale for many just starting out. Their fees are really out there but, I can admit thatthey knwo what they are talking about. If you can afford it go for it, as it would be an investment that would repay itself over and over.

But what happens when you can’t afford it? You must then learn from the masters in other ways.

Pick a marketer/mentor that you really admire. Chances are you have already purchased products from them already, so study those products! Learn their style, and define what it is that you really like about the product.

You can study their websites, newsletters and get as much information as you can by doing a search on the internet about them. Study and learn as much as you can on the marketer/mentor you have chosen and take notes. Now take those notes and apply them to your own online business.

You can find several Internet Marketers that you admire and take thebest of their strategies and incorporate these strategies in your ownproduct offerings. You must remember though, always change the spin to your words and do not copy their text word for word. It would be wrong to completely copy them.

Where can you find successful marketers to learn from? Great question, easy answer. You look for Internet Marketing forums and there are many of them that have well known Internet Marketers active in the forum. The forums make it easier for you to contact them and be sure to interact with them and even request their help.

Asking questions and being active in a forum is a great way of finding a potential mentor that will help you achieve your goals. In InternetMarketing it’s not always going to be an easy road but they can helpyou get through the tough times.

If you understand the techniqe of using leverage you could request their help and then you can give them a cut of the profits when you are successful. After all, Not all successful marketers just happened to come on the internet and make it work. An accountability partner would be someone that you stay in contact with regularly, preferably each week, so you can set tasks for each other and accomplish more with each others support as you are literally accountable to each other, hence the name. So in an easy to understand term, you answer to each other and you can set tasks for each other.

Mastermind Groups, on the other hand, are a group of people supporting each other, bouncing ideas off each other, offering advice and finding solutions to problems. They usually have a mix of people from newbies to highly successful Internet entrepreneurs. You can really learn alot with a mastermind group. The reason is because, 2 minds are better than one and a group of three or more could be explosive!

The best thing about them is you have a collective mindset and that will keep you from geting into a brain overload. Mastermind groups are also a breeding ground for potential joint venture partners, mentors and cyber friends for life.

On November 30th I wrote about a product that I purchsed titled Product Quick Cash.

I did read the entire e-book and wow. It was loaded with great information. Alok gave us 5 strategies to implement that can generate quick cash.

Well, I am here to tell you that I did in fact increase my revenue by 100%. That is incredible!
100% in only a couple of days.

This is not a product that you want to get and leave unread. You must implement the strategies that Alok talks about. No, you do not do them all at once. Alok Studied his strategies before he spilled the beans to us. And yes, I have started implememting one of his techniques.

Why just one you may ask?

Alok tells us to start with one technique, learn it and tweak it until it is earning us money.

I started today and the next few days will tell me if I need to tweak it some more. Of course, I'm not going to tell you which technique I am using. You can get the book your self and figure it out on your own. Pick the technique that you are most intrested in, the one you understand the most and get started right away.

Alok is absolutley right when he said that internet marketing does not have to be hard. This technique can be used by internet marketing beginners, as well as seasoned marketers. It's the greatest!

Affiliate marketers are always looking for a successful market that will give the biggest paycheck. A lot of marketers believe that there is a secret magic formula that they can purchase that
will generate thousands of dollars in their account. Sorry, it is not as easy as that. Your success will depend on your dedication and hard work. Even though a lot of people that started marketing online started with the belief that this business is magical and happens automatically.
Sadly to say, these people will soon meet failure unless they can learn that it is hard work and
not magic that makes them successful.

There are certain strategies that have worked before and are still working in the affiliate marketing world today. Here are three marketing tips that you can use to increase your sales and survive the affiliate marketing world.

For each product that you are promoting create a different web page/website for it. Do not try to put all your products and services on one site. Every affiliate company you are involved with have different services and you need to give them each their own domain name, and website.

Include product reviews. You want your visitor to have a clear understanding of what the company is offering. Give as much detail as you can in your review. Make sure people will understand what's in it for them if they were to join your company. Include testimonials from product users. Make sure they really use the product and they are giving you a testimonial on the actual product and not on you for introducing them to the product. Always ask their permission to use their testimonial and include a photo if they are agreeable to that.

Write articles about the product and highlight the uses of the product. You can use your articles on your website as an additional page. Each headline should be attractive and compel your readers to read more. Highlight your special points which will help your readers find the information they want and compel them to act on the information they received.
Give free reports to your readers. Position your free reports at the top side of your page so that your readers will not miss the free offer. Create an auto-responder set that begins with thanking them for getting your free report. Any sequential mail should be on the topic of your report. Research has proven that a sale is usually closed on the seventh contact with a prospect.
When you place useful information into your readers in boxes at specified times, you will be reminding them of the product they wanted. Do not focus a lot on free ffa sites, and free traffic exchanges. Focus on sticking to your targeted audience, even if it means you need to purchase traffic. When you purchase targeted traffic only the people wanting to see what you have to offer will see it.

Try to write at least 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day. Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

This tactic given above is not very difficult to do and it just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips and test it on several affiliate marketing programs that you are associated with. Watch your testing carefully and monitor your traffic to subscribers conversion and you will soon see which of your affiliate companies will work for you.

If you find one company working better than another then you might want to think about the cost involved if you stay with the company not earning you anything. If your affiliate status is free then you may need to consider how much time you want to invest to promote a company that is not growing with you.

What information does your receipients need? If you are sending out letters to a group of

The Money Is In The List?

I know that you have all heard that the money is in the list. I have to agree with this statement. But, the money is not in just any list. It is in a targeted list. I wrote an article about list building and email marketing and you can read it at Katsbizforum.I have really discovered that you do not need to have a product or service to start building your targeted list. Pick a niche and start a newsletter on that niche. Build your opt-in page and start promoting it. You will see your list start growing. Not only is your list growing, it is a targeted list. Now you can start bulding a business around that niche. So, I guess what I am saying is, do not wait for everything to be perfect and in place. Building your list is a great starting point.

I use 2 different auto responders for my list building. Aweber and the auto-responder in 2TillProfit. You can locate the links listed on the right side of this blog under auto-responders.

The difference between the 2 companies is this, Aweber is a complete auto-responder and paying members get unlimited auto-responders. Aweber is a very realiable company and I am proud to say that I use their service. 2TillProfit is not just a auto-responder. Create unlimited rotators and track as many ads as you want with just these two tools. So, I am also proud to use their services. Tracking your campaigns is very important because it gives you the ability to see what really works and what is not working for you.

I Started 2 Years Ago

I know this sounds silly but I actually started on the internet about 2 years ago. That seems like a long time but it really isn't. I have learned so much in my 2 years that I thought it was time to start sharing my experiences with you.

I started out with a Mini Mall and I went absolutley no where with it. I spent thousands of dollars for these people to advertise my business for me and after spending about 4 thousand dollars I think I earned around $200. My return was not very great. Dissappointed I started looking for ways to advertise and what a trip that has been for me.

The first thing I was introduced to was Veretekk. Although they have some great tools to use, I am still dealing with all the email we get back from using the system. Basically, people use my service and when they become my "premium lead" for using my service I then have the right to email them. That works great but then it also puts me into their auto-responder and I get tons of emails back. The leads that I have so far have not been my most responsive leads but sometimes I do get a good one.

So, this is the beginning of what I am today. I am a co-owner of The Webinar Pros and my partner and I started this business to help other people do live webinars. Our webinar services cover anything from list management to assisting a live presentation.

Along with my business, I have found myself with many affiliate programs. You will hear me talking about them all throught this blog.
I have learned, with scrapes on my knees, that learning internet marketing is just like going to school. I must have a passion for it, I must be willing to do the work, and I must take lessons from those that have already learned how to do it.
